Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 172

Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 Please make sure to follow all the steps below. Failure to do so will cause errors when sending or receiving email.
	1) With Outlook 2003 open, select "Tools" from the top menu and then "E-mail Accounts".

	2) Selecting "E-mail Accounts" will bring you to a window that looks something like the one on the left. From here you want to click the "Add a new e-mail account" bullet and select "Next".

	3) The next window will ask you what type of server you would like to connect to. Select "POP3" and select "Next".

	4) After clicking "Next" in the previous screen you will now enter your email address, the name you want displayed in your email, and other server information. You MUST add "@troop172.com" to the end of your username. Make sure that "mail.troop172.com" is used for both the Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP) fields. Click "Next" and "Finish" and you are done.
